There is no separate credit checkout in the app. Change the plan on Shopify’s plan page when the included minutes, calls, people, or store numbers are no longer enough.
How a minute is counted
- A call with no duration does not spend a minute.
- A call that lasts any time at all counts at least one minute.
- Longer calls are rounded up to the next whole minute.
- Included minutes and included calls both apply to the billing period. Hitting either limit is “past what the plan includes.”
Past the included amount
Plans allow the line to stay open after the included minutes or calls are used. That extra use is billed with the plan. It is not a pack of credits you buy in advance.
If the desk is past the included amount every period, Growth or Business is the cleaner fix: more minutes, more calls, and on those two plans, recording.
